Mowser's Musings

Hi {{first_name|there}},

Bookings for my hosted Patagonia trip opened on Friday morning, and the early bird spots went quicker than I expected. There are now only two left.

Here are the essential details;

20 to 27 January 2028. El Calafate, El Chaltén, Torres del Paine. The early bird price is US$3,699, which is US$200 less than the regular US$3,899.

US$925 holds your spot, and you pay the rest through TrovaTrip, interest-free, any time before October 2027.

The eight days, briefly:

Day 1, 20th Jan 2028. Arrive in El Calafate, Argentina. Welcome dinner.

Day 2. A boat across Lago Rico to the Perito Moreno glacier, then the walkways right in front of it. Optional ice trek if you want it.

Day 3. Drive to El Chaltén. Afternoon welcome walk to the Mirador de los Cóndores, 6.4 km (4 mi).

Day 4. Free day, or the optional hike to Laguna de los Tres under Fitz Roy, 26 km (16 mi).

Day 5. Free day, or the optional via ferrata.

Day 6. Across the border into Chile, to Puerto Natales.

Day 7. The big one. Base Las Torres in Torres del Paine, 18 km (11 mi) and 915 m (3,000 ft) up. Farewell dinner that night.

Day 8, 27 Jan. Breakfast, then home.

I cannot wait to gaze upon these peaks at Torres del Paine. Photo by Marek Piwnicki on Unsplash

Included: 7 nights in hotels (twin share), a local guide, transfers, the glacier boat, both included walks, breakfast every day, the welcome and farewell dinners, and a packed lunch on Base Las Torres day. Flights, insurance and the optional extras are on you.

Eight to twenty people (plus myself and my wife), and I would rather it were the people who read these emails than strangers.

If you have been sitting on the fence about the walking, reply and ask me. I will tell you straight whether I think it suits you. I also made up an info sheet that you can download at this link.

One housekeeping note. You may also hear from TrovaTrip about this. They run the bookings and the payments, so a few of their emails will land alongside mine. Sorry about the double-up.

Cheers,

Mowser
